NorthShea

Over 150,000 tons of shea butter is exported from Africa to America and Europe every year! Out of that, 50,000 tons come from Northern Ghana. Yet, the 3 million women who make this shea butter, live in extreme poverty. As in, their kids only get only one meal a day. Northshea is committed to providing a stable livelihood to women living in rural Ghana by providing direct avenues for income and is handcrafted by incredible and hardworking local Ghanaian women. Northshea believes that if their efforts are driving revenues in the international market, then they deserve higher living wages and better lives.

Perkies

Perkies was born out of a college course Perkies Founder, Rosie, took during her junior year of college. After years of her own bad experiences with sticky bras (they lose adhesion, fall off when you sweat, and get dirty easily), Rosie thought of creating sticky bras with replaceable adhesives. Rosie decided to pursue it full time and bring this much needed product to life. Today, Rosie has launched the Perkies Sticky Bra: The only sticky bra with layered and replaceable adhesives, as well as Perkies Petals: Premium, reusable nipple covers that come in three shades of nude. Perkies is dedicated to sustainability, inclusivity, and empowering women to feel confident, while also donating 5% of all website sales to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.

Earnestly

I started Earnestly out of frustration from witnessing thoughtless gifts from companies leading to environmental waste. Many of these gifts end up in storage cabinets, junk drawers, or on a Goodwill shelf. I knew from experience that companies need a lot of help when it comes to adding a personalized touch to their gifts. I launched Earnestly to fix broken gifting. But what ended up as a business based on providing solutions to financial and environmental waste, turned out to be one of my biggest joys. I get to work with clients and projects that I have a personal affinity to. Every engagement I decide to work on whether it be rewarding pitch judges at my school for volunteering their time with a heartfelt appreciation gift or helping brides celebrate after selecting and signing at their chosen wedding venue, I get to witness the recipient's positive experiences and become a part of their story. Above all, I get to source from and support female-run businesses. Something that both the team at Glenmore and I love to do!
